The rules for using duedatez.online, in as little legalese as we could manage.

These terms govern your use of duedatez.online. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

1. What this site is

DueDatez provides free online calculators and written articles relating to pregnancy dating and fertility. Everything here is general information. It is not medical advice, and using this site does not create a doctor-patient, midwife-patient or any other professional relationship.

This is the important one. The calculators produce estimates based on standard formulas and typical population averages. They cannot account for your individual medical circumstances. Never rely on this site for a decision about your health or your pregnancy. Please read the full medical disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

2. Accuracy and no warranty

We take care to get the maths right and to keep the clinical content consistent with published professional guidance. Even so, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, nor that any result produced by a calculator will be accurate, complete or suitable for your situation. Guidance and reference figures change over time and a page may not reflect the very latest revision.

3. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DueDatez, its operators and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including without limitation any decision made or action taken in reliance on a calculator result or article.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

4. Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of our content without written permission
  • scrape, crawl or systematically extract content by automated means beyond ordinary search engine indexing
  • frame, mirror or embed the site so as to present it as your own
  • remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or disclaimer notice
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system
  • introduce malware, or interfere with the site's operation or availability
  • use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, code, layout, design, graphics and the DueDatez name — is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The underlying mathematical formulas are, of course, not proprietary; our particular implementation and written explanations are.

You may quote a short extract for commentary, criticism, review or educational purposes provided you attribute it and link to the source page. Anything more requires written permission — ask through the contact form.

6. Content you submit

If you send us a message, a suggestion or a correction, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose of operating and improving the site. You confirm that anything you send is yours to send and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Please do not send confidential information or detailed personal medical information through the contact form.

7. Advertising and third-party content

This site displays third-party advertising. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for the content of any advertisement or any product or service advertised. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are strictly between you and them. Links to external sites are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice, including removing or changing calculators and articles. We are not liable for any unavailability.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here with the date at the top is the one in force. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law and severability

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the site is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect and the unenforceable provision is interpreted so as to reflect its original intent as closely as the law allows.

11. Entire agreement

These terms, together with the privacy policy and the medical disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and DueDatez regarding your use of this site.
